Hear from Her
For decades, women were underrepresented in clinical trials and medical research, leading to gaps in diagnosis, treatment, and care. Representation helps correct this imbalance and ensures medical knowledge reflects women's experiences. Many conditions—like heart disease, autoimmune disorders, and pain syndromes—manifest differently in women. When women's health is better represented in research, education, and media, it leads to earlier diagnosis, more accurate treatment, and improved health outcomes.
During each episode, they explore one facet of being a woman in healthcare, from the challenges women face to what we as a community can do to help advance women’s health and women in medicine. Through engaging and insightful discussions that aim to inspire and educate, Medscape Education is building a community that supports, advocates and tackles important issues in women’s health.
